Managing API tokens

Create the keys a front end uses to read your content — with the right scope.

A front end reads your content through the API using a token. Create one in Settings → API tokens, give it a name, and choose its scope: a read-only delivery token for a public website, or a management token that can also write — used by build scripts and tools.

Tokens are separate from people and their roles, so a website key can never edit your structure. Copy a new token when it is shown — you will not see it again — and delete any you no longer use.
