Claiming your web address

Every hosted site gets a working web address the moment hosting is switched on. It starts as an automatic name, but you can claim a proper one — yourclient.contentive.io — from the Deployments panel. Type a name, check it is free, and claim it.

Names are first-come, first-served across the whole platform, so a good one may be taken — try another. One important thing to know: once a name has been released it is retired for good and can never be claimed again, by anyone, because old links would otherwise point somewhere unexpected. So choose with care and keep it.
